Co- Founder | Certifiably
Anne Chambers is the co-founder of Certifiably.
Anne Chambers has been preaching the gospel of business as a force for good for most of her career. She believes that business holds the key to solving most social problems, including eliminating poverty, and, to that end, she has a particular focus and interest in micro-lending.
In March 2018 Anne launched Certifiably. Her mission with Certifiably is to change the supply chain identification and selection process for companies of all sizes. The purpose of that mission is to empower values-driven businesses to have greater success and therefore greater impact in their specific and unique world changing ways.
Anne Chambers has been the CEO of Red212, a digital agency located in Cincinnati Ohio, since Red212 was acquired from P&G seventeen years ago. Red works with socially conscious companies to help them grow their business, because the more successful these companies are, the greater the impact they can make. Red212 became certified as a B Corp in 2017. B Corp companies are part of a group of businesses dedicated to the belief that business is a powerful force for good.
Prior to acquiring Red212, Anne was with P&G for ten years, mostly working in beauty care.
A serial entrepreneur, Anne created Bright Future Foods and launched an adoption focused, mission driven edamame snack brand called Ma-Me (mah-may). Ma-Me’s tag line was “I want My Ma-Me”, with the intention of bringing attention not just to the brand, but also to the voices of children around the world who need families. Ma-Me won Best New Product of the Year in 2005.
In 2019 Anne Chambers was part of the Founding Signatories to sign the We The Change pledge, founded by a group of female CEOs of certified B Corps.
Ms. Chambers is on the Leadership Advisory Board for WIPP, (Women Impacting Public Policy), and recently testified before Congress on behalf of WIPP. Her key advocacy areas include gender parity and access to capital.
She is also a member of C200, a membership organization of some of the world’s most successful female entrepreneurs and corporate innovators.
Anne lives in Cincinnati with her artist husband, Cliff Schwandner
